Well.....I'm sitting here Blogging while your Daddy cooks us dinner. Crappy wife i hear you say? I prefer lucky wife lol. Today has been a bit of a challenge. Woke at around 2am this morning to a very unsettled little boy, i thought you were just cranky or too hot or too cold, until you threw up all over me. Sigh. Overall you had your bed (queen size - you lucky duck!) changed three times after you threw up again and again. This morning you followed up with diarrhea x2 and another HUGE vomit this afternoon all over me. Off we went for a shower, clothes and all to wash it off. In the shower you wanted to be picked up and you put your head on my shoulder and we had a big cuddle. You woke up a little while ago - about an hour after you went to sleep - and your daddy and i went in and you were sitting up in your bed in the dark and you had thrown up again. Poor little fella we had to strip you off and shower you and then put you back to bed. Seeing you all nude and crying and holding your daddy's hand while he led you in for a shower was sad, you had no idea what was going on. It seems i have caught your bug now and am feeling pretty ordinary myself.
I am hoping you sleep well tonight and wake up tomorrow your happy little self - None of "those" books tell you as a parent that a large part of your brain will now be devoted to Wishing Hoping and Worrying for your child (must be why i seem to have prolonged baby brain) - because sometimes that's all we can do {insert worry here - sleep/growth/learning/behaving/health/happiness} and its something I'm sure ill be doing even when your a grown man living your own life!
